Project 12 Love

Love

My LOVE IS...

My LOVE IS...

Wrapping up and moving forward...

Reflect on our exploration to date. What has stood out for you? What has felt most challenging to you? Did anything surprise you? Did you notice a shift or transitioning of your feelings or your perceptions? Did any symbols arise for you? If so, did you notice them shift or change?

Hopefully, by now you have become more comfortable using the arts to express your inner world, to name your feelings, to help process, to notice mixing and transforming of emotions and ideas, and to grow in your awareness of your truth.

Please complete a journal entry using images and or words to express your expressive arts journey so far. What do you plan on taking forward with you? Are there things you now feel you can leave behind or let go of?

My Reflections on Love Is:

More of my reflections are in my recording, but the word that stood out the most for me was "Complicated." I got the sense of many layers; and the feeling that I had an internal sense of what love was supposed to be, but that my experiences had "washed over" and affected my concept of love.

All that being said, when making decisions to do with my family, I try to ask myself: Am I acting from a place of love?...

LOVE is...

Love is the highest vibration. It is extolled in scriptures and holy writings. There are countless books and stories on the topic. Love transcends language and is the most basic of human needs. Everything we have explored comes back to this quality, feeling, experience, need, lack or betrayal of. This makes it worthy of our exploration and reflection.

Invitation:

1. Love is...: by now you "know the drill". Create something expressing LOVE IS, in any way that feels intuitive and true for you.

Alternate Invitation:

2. Write a love story, song, letter to yourself, or something else.

reflection:

Please reflect on what this final project of this workshop was like for you. Write about it in your journal. Please consider sharing with other LDA's or trustworthy people here or in your life.

Closing thoughts:

Thank you for being here, for pushing beyond, for stretching, for allowing yourself to be seen and heard. Thank you for holding space for yourself and others. I hope you have learned a little bit more about yourself and how to use art to process and communicate. I hope you have experienced moments of insight and pleasant surprise. I hope you feel more connected in mind, body, and spirit.

May your intuition continue to speak to you. May you continue to grow, learn, and heal.

With much gratitude,

~ Meaghan Carriere RTC
